Principal Physiotherapist
Tim is a partner at U Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates and has been with the practice for over 18 years. Tim has been extensively involved in sports physiotherapy with local, national, and international teams.
Tim is has been the medical coordinator for the Australian Rugby Union Referees and contracted to World Rugby and SANZAAR as Head of Medical for the top-level rugby referees. Tim has very recently worked full time as an Athletic Performance Physiotherapist with the GWS Giants in the AFL.
Tim completed his Graduate Diploma in Strength and Conditioning through Otago with World Rugby S&C Mat Blair and All Blacks Physio Peter Gallagher, achieving Student of the Year. Tim has been Head Physiotherapist for the NSW Country Eagles in the National Rugby Championships (NRC) and was the touring Physiotherapist for the Tongan National Rugby Team (Ikale Tahi) from since 2010-2015. Tim has also worked as the head physiotherapist for the Junior World Rugby Cup in Argentina. He has done numerous international tours with Tonga A rugby team, and co-ordinated medical for the Samoan National Rugby Team (Manu Samoa). Tim has also worked with the Newcastle Jets, NRL players, professional golfers, ARU development squads, professional surfers, basketballers, and hockey players.
Tim has particular interests in the treatment and management of sporting injuries, as well as an interest in strength and conditioning for injury prevention and peak athletic performance.
