After finishing school in Batemans Bay, Mitch moved to Sydney to complete a professional golf traineeship at New South Wales Golf Club. He later relocated to Wollongong, where he became the teaching professional at Port Kembla Golf Club. His passion for coaching and helping others improve their golf game inspired him to pursue further education, earning a Bachelor of Exercise Science with Distinction, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology with Distinction at the University of Wollongong. Over time, his focus expanded from golf coaching to assisting individuals in achieving their personal health goals and recovering from injuries. Since completing his studies, he has worked full-time as an exercise physiologist.
Mitch remains passionate about golf and enjoys playing on weekends. He also plays snooker and billiards and is an avid follower of the NRL and EPL.
