Mahley grew up in Woonona and has always had a strong connection to sport, movement and the outdoors. From skiing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to strength training and swimming, he has consistently immersed himself in environments that challenge physical performance and resilience — an interest that naturally led him to physiotherapy. After completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Distinction) at the University of Wollongong he went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Strength and Conditioning and a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney. He also holds ASCA Level 1 accreditation and has developed a strong foundation in performance-based rehabilitation. Mahley previously worked as an Intern Physiotherapist with the Cronulla Sharks first grade squad and gained experience as a Sports Trainer with the GWS Giants AFLW side. Across his university years, he also worked with multiple local AFL, Rugby Union and Rugby League clubs, developing strong skills in athlete management within fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Alongside clinical activities he works as an Academic Demonstrator and Tutor at the University of Wollongong.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Mahley training in the gym, exploring the outdoors or searching for the next good coffee with friends.
