Kyle Hardie

Physiotherapist

Kyle was born and raised in Shellharbour and has grown up with a passion for sports and exercise. Kyle has had an extensive career playing a variety of sports but made his mark playing Rugby League where he played for various junior representative teams. Due to this and his love for the human body, a career in physiotherapy was always on his radar.

After completing a bachelor of exercise science and a graduate certificate in strength and conditioning at the University of Wollongong, he eventually earned a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in 2022. He was still playing footy whilst studying at his junior club Wests Illawarra, until unfortunately in 2023 he suffered a serious injury that put a stop to his playing days. Now transitioning into the post-athlete world of sports, Kyle has done both coaching and physio work. He was the assistant coach for the St George Illawarra Dragons Under 21s team in 2024 and to bring things full circle, is now the head physiotherapist of his junior club Wests Illawarra Rugby League.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kyle being just as active as he loves spending time at the beach, going on outdoor adventures and playing with his border collie Harley.
