Do I need a referral from a doctor?

In many cases, you can directly access physiotherapy without a doctor’s referral. However, some insurance plans or specific conditions might require a referral, so it’s best to check beforehand.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of conditions such as sports injuries, joint pain, back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and more.

How long will it take to see improvement?

Improvement timelines vary depending on the condition, individual factors, and adherence to the treatment plan. Consistency and following your therapist’s advice can expedite progress.

How long are the appointments?

Physiotherapy visits are 30 minutes. However, your clinic time may vary between 30-60 minutes.

Prolonged visits are booked for 60 minutes.

Do you Bulk Bill?

We accept Medicare EPC referrals however you are required to pay the fee and then claim back the Medicare rebate.

Do you accept Private health funds?

Yes you can use your health fund card in the clinic via our HICAPs machine and pay the gap. Please check with your health fund if you are covered for your treatment before you arrive.

What other payment methods are available?

U Physio is proud to offer a range treatments to a range of clients including, Medicare, Private, NDIS, CTP, DVA and selected aged care packages.
